    • Backup & Restore: export all data (products + photos, shop profile, sales, customers, stock history, settings) to a single file, saved anywhere via the standard Android "Save" dialog — including Google Drive if you have it installed. No account linking, no setup. Restore reads that same file back (with a confirmation before it replaces current data).
    • Optional auto-backup reminder in Settings: enable it and pick daily/weekly — when due, the app opens the save dialog for you on launch instead of you needing to remember.

    • "Record Purchase" is no longer a separate menu entry or quick button — it is now only reachable from within Stock History (globally, or scoped to a product), so every purchase is recorded in context of that products history.
    • Stock History for a specific product now shows its current stock prominently at the top, so purchases/adjustments/sales/returns and the resulting final stock are visible together at a glance.

    Bug fix release:

    • Fixed a real data-loss bug: adding a purchase, adjustment, return, or sale for one product could silently wipe the photo (and un-archive) of other products, because the stock-update code rebuilt the stored record without carrying the photo/archive-status fields forward. Editing a product name/price had the same issue for its own archive status.
    • Cart items (after scanning a barcode) now show the product photo, not just name/price.
    • Added regression tests to prevent this class of bug from recurring.

    • In-app update system: the app now checks this Forgejo repo for new releases (silently on startup, or on demand from Settings), downloads the APK with a progress indicator, and hands off to the Android installer — no more manually finding and installing APKs.
    • Requires the "install unknown apps" permission for this app the first time (prompted automatically, with a shortcut to system settings if denied).

    New in this release:

    • Fixed a real inventory bug: abandoning checkout when no printer was configured wrongly restocked an already-completed sale. Printing is now best-effort only and never reverses a sale; checkout just confirms "Paid" when no printer is set up.
    • Stock can no longer be edited directly on a product or nudged with the old unlogged quick +/- — every change now goes through Purchase, Adjustment, a sale, or a Return, each leaving a permanent audit entry.
    • Customer returns: return items from a ticket, restoring stock and logging it against that sale.
    • Products are archived/deactivated instead of deleted, with a reactivate option. Archived products are hidden from scanning and purchase pickers.
    • Full French (default) and Arabic (switchable, RTL) localization, with a language switcher in Settings.
